Position Description

Columbia Surgery Center has an immediate need for a full time Registered Nurse Pre Op/Post Op !

Job Summary: The RN PreOp/Post Op is a Registered Nurse that provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RN Pre Op/PACU provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations. The RN Pre Op/Post Op supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

Monday-Friday work schedule!

NO call required!

NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours!

Free Parking

Pay Range: $33 -$54/hour, based on experience

Required Skills:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current RN license in the state of Washington.
  • Current CPR, Preferred ACLS, and PALS
  • Ability to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errors.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, hospital staff, physicians, vendors and the public.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, openness, receptive to change, creativity and innovative.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge base relative to surgery procedures and management of the surgical patient
  • Understands principles of aseptic technique and their implementation
  • Ability to care for patients from infancy to geriatrics
  • Excellent teaching skills
  • Basic knowledge of Performance Improvement ideology
